Does Kunaki replicate (press) or duplicate discs?

Kunaki duplicates discs. Duplication has made major strides over the last few years. Today mediocre duplication is superior to bad replication. And superior duplication is better than mediocre replication. Lastly, superior duplication is every bit as good as the best replication.

about

One thing I've been trying to get better at and do more, is blend my oddball sense(s) of humor with my music, but blending it with the serious issues that I often discuss.

Here, I'm mixing dry humor and a stone-faced serious tone, but throwing in some silly references, along with the heavy content that's all intertwined.

This beat reminded me of a few Kool Moe Dee beats from the 80s. It's not super blatant, just some elements to the sound, instruments, and swing give me vibes of "Do You Know What Time It Is?", "The Avenue", and "Pump Your Fist", as some Moe Dee examples. So, with that in mind, in spots I do a flow similar to Kool Moe Dee in that era.

From the Treacherous Three, onto his solo career, I was a huge fan of Kool Moe Dee, particularly for his writing acumen. He is one of my biggest early inspirations in terms of being focused on intricate writing. That in mind, this isn't a all out homage to him, I just picked up those beat similarities that I heard, and mixed in those elements into my flow, as Moe Dee also was known to mix in some humor with a hardcore or deadpan tone.

As for the title, the dictionary has three primary definition for the word "ledger", I'm speaking about each of them, directly and/or metaphorically, at various points in the song.

I really tried to have fun with creative patterns on this one, with the styles of Kool Moe Dee, Erule, Del, Definite Vacation 4 Suckas, and Freestyle Fellowship somewhere in the back of the mind...

lyrics

These are dark times
Ripe for some from the heart rhymes
Here’s mine, heartbreaking like the prison pipeline
It’s fight time, late news if you’re just now seeing the clues
A REMINDER to those who I am passionately speaking to
We can do anything we truly strive for
We live through some hard times, fighting these mind wars
I find FLAWS in self then I alter my views
Like water; fuse with any state you could possibly choose
This is my BLUES, anxiety is eating my time more
I REFUSE to walk this world hindered by blinders
Keepers or finders, resulting in a plus or a minus
I trust I’m the finest person I could be in this moment
No question, my kindness known to be my prime opponent
This rhyme, I wrote it thinking of my FINAL moment
That time I don’t know it, you see, death doesn’t need a motive
I need to focus, third wiseman, he’s devoted (a poet)
The seed I’ll sow it, to see the mysteries decoded
My needs compulsive, passion as vast as an ocean
My love explosive, balanced doses of pure emotion
Here’s to hoping, we can pick up our pieces together
This is a letter…. whiting out the red in the ledger
Whiting out the red in ledger
Yeah, writing what you read in the letter
